We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant with expertise in Oracle Retail modules to join a project based assignment with a retail focused consulting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical guidance and support in implementing and optimizing Oracle Retail solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle Retail modules, including but not limited to Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM), Oracle Retail Inventory Management (ReIM), and Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization (RPAS).
  • Lead and participate in the design, configuration, customization, and implementation of Oracle Retail solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend best practices for leveraging Oracle Retail modules effectively.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and system integration specifications.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to facilitate knowledge transfer and enable end-user adoption of Oracle Retail solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Oracle Retail product releases, updates, and industry trends to provide proactive recommendations and insights to clients.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail module implementation and support, versions 9.0 through 16.x, as well as Oracle Database Server and RDBMS versions 8 through 19c Enterprise Edition.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Retail modules such as RMS, ReSA, ReIM, SRP, RPAS, RDF, Retail Allocation, etc.
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and planning.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail application architecture, configuration, customization, and integration methodologies.
  • Experience setting up integrations between Oracle Retail and other enterprise systems, using technologies such as RIB, APIs, and web services.
  • Hands on capability with PL/SQL, Bash, Shell, KornShell, Perl, C++
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget in a consulting environment.
