Senior DevOps Engineer

One of my favourite clients is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer.

They are a eCommerce logistics company and have built a truly unique software platform that is entrusted by hundreds of eCommerce companies, large and small to run their operations and grow.

They might be the fastest growing organization I know. They've thrived during covid, the shift from retail shopping to online means their profits went from $4m to $20m and they aren't stopping there. This means you are joining a growing company and will give you the opportunity to advance your career alongside their growth.

Now, this is where you come into play. There's an opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their platform team. You'll play a fundamental role, focusing on building a solid foundation for the platform. They are looking for someone that's proficient in building and maintaining infrastructure within AWS. Their technology stack is AWS, Git, Jenkins, MySQL, DynamoDB or MongoDB, Terraform, ECS, Python and Linux. This isn't a wishlist, someone who's a skilled AWS Engineer with strong CI/CD processes, Python scripting and IaC would be a great fit, the rest is just a bonus and skill's you'd get to learn/advance.

They are a real team orientated business and take pride in what they do. You won't just be doing a standard Sr DevOps Engineer job, you'll be part of a journey with the people around you.

This is an FTE position and the team operate 100% remote (before and after covid), they are HQ'd in New York, but you won't be expected to travel there.
