iO Assocaites is partnering with an early-stage, deep tech biotech focused on reprogramming the immune system to treat age-related diseases spanning inflammation, neurodegeneration, and cancer. Backed by strong scientific founders, the company is now seeking a fractional Chief Business Officer (or equivalent CXO title) to help shape and execute its commercial and fundraising strategy.

The Opportunity

This is a foundational leadership role, ideal for someone excited to build from the ground up - working closely with the scientific founders to grow the business, engage with investors, and translate cutting-edge science into commercial opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead capital raising strategy and investor engagement from seed stage onward
Drive partnerships, licensing, and business development with pharma and biotech
Align scientific priorities with commercial strategy and market opportunities
Contribute to overall company building, strategic planning, and leadership hiring

Ideal Profile

Background in immunology, venture creation, or early-stage biotech
Proven track record in fundraising and deal-making
Strong scientific fluency, ideally in immunology or computational biology
Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style
