Position Summary: As a Machine Learning Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing RNA-based therapeutics by developing state-of-the-art machine learning models. Collaborating closely with the scientific team, you will design and implement cutting-edge algorithms to drive drug design programs and enhance the understanding of RNA biology. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced transformer-based machine learning architectures for drug design.
  • Collaborate with laboratory scientists to extract key insights into RNA biology through modeling.
  • Work with IT and Engineering teams to deploy machine learning solutions.
  • Design methodologies to enhance the usability and interpretability of complex models.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • PhD with 0-3 years of experience or 5+ years of experience with an MS in AI, computer science, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of structural biology/chemistry and the drug development process.
  • Expertise in transformer architectures such as T5, BERT, GPT, PaLM2.
  • Proven experience in machine learning algorithm development and innovation.
  • Strong background in deep learning frameworks
  • Familiarity with MLOps platforms


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in distributed training strategies.
  • Exposure to ML model lifecycle processes.
