Role Summary:

Our client is currently seeking a Director of Information Security to join their esteemed team. This pivotal position, reporting to the Group President, entails spearheading the information security strategy to protect company assets, client data, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute information security strategies in alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage enterprise-wide data and cybersecurity risks.
  • Establish security policies, protocols, and incident response plans.
  • Lead security governance, compliance, and audit activities.
  • Oversee security operations, including threat monitoring and incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security practices and ensure compliance.
  • Provide security training programs and awareness initiatives.
  • Evaluate and deploy new security tools and technologies.
  • Foster partnerships with external stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor and lead the security team, reporting on security posture to executive leadership.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of ten years' progressive experience in information security, with at least five years in a leadership role within relevant industries.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in securing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Expertise in data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated track record in managing security incidents, audits, and third-party risks.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
