Director of DevOps

And this company I am working with, are right at the heart of the ecommerce sector. They have built a market leading platform for re-occurring subscription management and payment. Some of the most well-known companies trust them to manage their customer subscriptions and billings. This is because of their authentic, personalized and simplistic approach

They are looking for a Director of DevOps to lead, manage and build their Cloud & DevOps operation. You'll start by managing a small team of Engineers who have been at the company for more than three years, and then sculped this team to take their platform to the next generation.

This is their DevOps moto; 'If we knew what we know now, how would we have built our environment when we started?'. A major part of this position is to build a cloud strategy around re-architecting their current environment and implementing this.

Their current tech stack is; AWS, Terraform, Linux, Jenkins, PHP, MySQL & RDS. They are toying with the idea of moving more towards GO, Lambda and Kafka. Although, they want your advice and recommendations.

The company's HQ is located in Tampa, however, they operate fully remote. As long as you are based in US, are a US citizen, and have experience leading a DevOps operation, they would love to hear from you.
