Role Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tools that support rapid software development and deployment. Working closely with development, QA, and IT operations teams, this role focuses on automation, system monitoring, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and ensuring reliability, performance, and security across production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Define, develop, and manage DevOps infrastructure projects
Design and implement secure automation solutions for multiple environments (development, staging/UAT, production)
Manage user access, roles, and privileges through IAM and integrate vulnerability assessment tools within CI/CD pipelines
Automate workflows using scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across various environments
Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
Troubleshoot and resolve system and deployment issues
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a DevOps role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and security fundamentals
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools
Cloud experience required; Azure preferred
Expertise with both Windows Server and Linux environments
Experience with compliance and security standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001
