UI/UX Designer

Location: 100% Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and meaningful user experiences across web, iOS, and Android platforms, grounded in deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and customer feedback to identify pain points, guide design decisions, and continuously improve the experience.
  • Clearly articulate design rationale, user insights, and experience trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, support teams, and marketing to ensure user needs are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with other UI/UX designers to co-create product flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that are consistent, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead platform-wide consistency efforts through periodic design audits and coordination with peers.
  • Keep design tasks, documentation, and research findings up to date in shared tools (e.g., Figma, ClickUp) to support visibility and accountability across development teams.
  • Support the development of fellow designers by sharing expertise, offering guidance, and modeling high standards of craft and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Extensive UX/UI Experience: 7+ years of experience designing digital products across web and mobile platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX, visual design, and interaction design.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven experience mentoring designers, reviewing work constructively, and leading by example within a UX team or design chapter.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of UX patterns and constraints across iOS, Android, and responsive web platforms, with experience in delivering cohesive experiences across them.
  • Design System Management: Experience building, maintaining, and scaling design systems with a focus on consistency, reusability, and collaboration with engineering.
  • Customer-Centered Mindset: Expertise in translating user insights, feedback, and analytics into meaningful product improvements and elegant design solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Comfortable working at both the conceptual and detailed design levels, with the ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes and roadmap priorities.

Core Requirements

  • 7+ years of UI/UX experience with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products
  • Prior experience designing for SaaS or B2C applications
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team (product, engineering, QA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or coach junior designers
  • Strong communication skills, especially when collaborating with non-design stakeholders
  • Proficient in Figma, including component-based design and handoff best practices
  • Comfortable designing across both mobile and web platforms (not just responsive web)

Mobile Platform Expertise - Candidate should specialize in one of the following:

Option A - Native iOS Design Expertise

  • Deep familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG)
  • Experience designing for UIKit and/or SwiftUI

Option B - Native Android Design Expertise

  • Deep familiarity with Android's Material Design guidelines
  • Experience designing for Jetpack Compose or legacy Android UI frameworks
