Splunk Consultant - Remote - Contract to Hire

A small niche consultancy, partnered with Splunk, is looking for multiple Splunk Consultants. They are looking for Splunk professionals with a variety of backgrounds. Our client is interested in professionals from Admin to Architect level. These hires will be involved in the full cycle of conception and analysis through to completion on a variety of projects with Fortune 500 companies. This opportunity comes with a very generous PTO arrangement, remote work and a flexible work schedule, as well as an extensive benefit package.

Term: Contract to Hire
Location: Full Remote with light travel to meet with the Team and End Clients
Hourly Rate: Up to $80/hr

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for contributing to Architecture, Installation, Admin, Data Onboarding, and Development of Splunk within a wide variety of enterprise settings
• Executing on the Splunk service at a high level in order to best cater to the needs of the client environment
• Building automation, dashboards, correlations, KPI's, etc. with the goal of improving both system efficiency and security.
• Support and mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Light travel as needed to visit both your team and the Clients
  • Less than 20%.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years with Splunk
• In-depth experience managing large Splunk Distributed environments.
• Experienced with data onboarding activities including, but not limited to, custom parsing rules and CIM
• Expertise in creating and managing Splunk Knowledge objects
• Experience developing custom Splunk content
• Hands on experience with SAP is highly preferred
