Our Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Data Science and AI to join their team in a contract role at their worksite in Norfolk, VA. This strategic hire will play a crucial role in driving innovation and capability development, contributing to NATO ACT's strategic vision.

Responsibilities

Utilise 8+ years of software development experience to lead projects and initiatives
Design and implement large-scale software architecture with a focus on AI/ML system integration
Implement Agile, DevOps, CI/CD best practices for efficient development processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security engineering principles are integrated
Lead and mentor teams in a multinational environment to foster innovation and growth

Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
Strong expertise in AI/ML system integration and security engineering principles
Demonstrated leadership skills in driving innovation and strategic development
Fluent in English with proficiency
Active US Secret Security Clearance or higher

Desirable Skills & Experience

Familiarity with NATO's operational structure and procedures
Previous experience in a security-focused environment
Knowledge of additional languages
