Senior Implementation Engineer
A fast-growing technology organization operating at the intersection of clinical workflows, intelligent automation, and data-driven solutions is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to support the deployment of advanced software within complex healthcare environments.
Role Overview
Title: Senior Implementation Engineer
Function: Engineering / Technical Delivery
Location: Remote (occasional U.S. travel, <25%, PST)
Experience: 5+ years

This position blends deep technical integration work with client-facing responsibilities. You will guide customers through adopting specialized clinical software, ensuring smooth interaction with established healthcare IT systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end deployments, including requirements gathering, environment configuration, integration, validation, and go-live activities.
Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, translating complex concepts and ensuring effective collaboration.
Architect and troubleshoot system integrations with major clinical platforms, prioritizing interoperability, reliability, and performance.
Apply strong knowledge of imaging, messaging, and clinical data standards to configure and optimize system behavior.
Contribute to scalable deployment frameworks and custom implementation strategies for enterprise or multi-site clients.
Monitor post-launch performance, resolve issues, and support ongoing enhancements.
Ensure alignment between product capabilities and clinical workflows to deliver a seamless user experience.
Partner closely with internal engineering, product, customer success, and operational teams.
Maintain adherence to U.S. healthcare compliance requirements and rigorous documentation practices.
Travel periodically for on-site deployment support and customer engagement.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven success managing full lifecycle technical deployments in healthcare or similarly regulated environments.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and imaging or data exchange pathways.
Hands-on experience with common interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and integration middleware or interface engines.
Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is advantageous.
Familiarity with large hospital information systems or enterprise clinical environments.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and clinical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare compliance standards and secure data practices.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. (PST) for deployment and client support.
