Company Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a distinguished consulting partner specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Our client has a reputation for delivering comprehensive and innovative IAM solutions, particularly within the NetIQ/OpenText ecosystem.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced NetIQ Engineer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive consulting experience with both on-premises and cloud solutions within the NetIQ/OpenText environment. This is a fully remote opportunity, available exclusively to individuals located within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement identity and access management solutions using NetIQ/OpenText products.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their IAM requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Integrate NetIQ/OpenText solutions with existing applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop custom connectors, policies, and workflows to enhance IAM functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to NetIQ/OpenText implementations.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to clients during the deployment and post-deployment phases.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IAM and NetIQ/OpenText products.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis and solution demonstrations.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a NetIQ Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proven consulting experience with both on-premises and cloud solutions within the NetIQ/OpenText environment.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other authentication/authorization protocols.
  • Experience with API integrations and development.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related IAM integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in NetIQ/OpenText products.
  • Prior experience in a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
