Our Client, who operate in the defense and security sector, is currently seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a Contract position based in Norfolk, VA, with requirements specific to NATO nationality and a US Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Role Summary:
As our Client expands its operations, they require a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to enhance their capabilities in security and digital innovation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and resilience of their systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions
- Manage security in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Implement container security measures with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and manage vulnerabilities effectively
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevSecOps engineering
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Proficiency in cloud environments and container security
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
- NATO nationality and US Secret Security Clearance or higher
- English proficiency according to STANAG 6001 - SLP 4444
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and frameworks
- Previous experience contributing to NATO's goals of resilience and security
