Job Title: IT Field Technician - Dental Company

Role:

They are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Field Technician to provide technical support and maintain IT systems across their multiple dental offices in Dallas-Fort Worth. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving any IT issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring smooth operations at all of the locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues at various dental office locations in Dallas-Fort Worth.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, system backups, and antivirus management.
  • Train staff on the proper use of IT systems and applications to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference.
  • Respond promptly to IT support tickets, escalate issues as necessary, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and software licensing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Field Technician or similar role, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and productivity software (Microsoft Office, G Suite).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between office locations in Dallas-Fort Worth.
