Job Title: Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

Job Description:
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure information systems. This role ensures that cybersecurity requirements are integrated into system architecture and supports the full system development lifecycle. The ISSE collaborates with developers, system administrators, and security teams to apply security controls, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST 800-53, RMF, and FISMA.

Key Responsibilities:

Support system accreditation and RMF processes
