Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Architect to join our healthcare technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identity and access management (IAM) and a strong background in healthcare regulatory standards. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions to ensure secure access to healthcare systems and data. The successful candidate will possess technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare IT compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architecture:

    • Develop comprehensive IAM architectures tailored to the specific needs of healthcare organizations.
    • Design and implement secure, scalable IAM solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and IdentityNow.
    • Create detailed technical documentation and architectural diagrams to support IAM initiatives.
  • Implementation and Management:

    • Lead the deployment and integration of IAM solutions, ensuring alignment with healthcare regulatory standards and best practices.
    • Implement and manage directory services, including Active Directory, and ensure secure authentication and authorization using SAML and REST APIs.
    • Oversee the implementation of software solutions and IT controls to enhance security and compliance.
  • Governance and Compliance:

    • Establish and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with healthcare regulatory standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Client Engagement and Support:

    • Work closely with healthcare stakeholders to understand their IAM requirements and provide expert guidance on best practices and solution capabilities.
    • Conduct presentations and training sessions to educate healthcare staff on IAM policies and procedures.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Serve as a technical leader and mentor for junior team members, providing guidance on IAM projects and best practices.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in IAM technologies and healthcare IT compliance, integrating new features and practices into solutions.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage and oversee multiple IAM projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables with healthcare organization objectives.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:

    • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for IAM-related issues within healthcare systems.
    • Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles related to IAM in healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in IAM architecture and deployment within the healthcare industry.
    • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and IdentityNow.
    • Experience with BeyondTrust, Azure DevOps Services, and cloud computing in a healthcare setting.
  • Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, including SAML, REST APIs, and directory services.
    • Proficiency in software implementation, systems engineering, and enterprise architecture.
    • Strong understanding of IT controls, risk management, and healthcare regulatory standards.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and experience with API integration.
