We are working with a well-established financial service firm on bringing a Data Scientist to their team! Responsibilities and Requirements below.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to identify requirements to build out reporting capabilities and trend analysis.
• Find new areas for innovation to build solutions.
• Execute intricate data queries, harmonize datasets, interpret findings, and present insights to senior management.
• Foster a robust data-driven ethos across the company by mentoring data analysts and enhancing data proficiency in other internal departments
• Present analysis findings and technical topics, visualize data to explain results to a non-technical audience

Requirements:

• BS in Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Business Analysis, Statistics, or similar field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 3 years of hands-on modeling experience with large data sets. Financial Service industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in the following tools:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Stakeholder management experience, ability to work independently.
