Data Analyst

US - Remote

FTE - Citizenship/GC required.

My client, a leader in the insurance sector, is hiring for a Data Analyst role. The company focuses on using innovative data strategies to achieve its business objectives. The role involves transforming data into actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, carrier partners, and engineering, to identify and prioritize key data insights and requirements, under the guidance of the Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Monitor emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and propose relevant solutions to the organization.
Create and manage Power BI reports and visualizations to present insights and trends to stakeholders.
Implement and uphold data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Work closely with team members and business stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions that drive business results.
Engage in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Team Retrospectives.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics or similar related field. Graduate degree preferred.
5+ years of working experience in analytics/reporting positions.
Strong experience in SQL and Power BI.
Project Management experience
Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred)
Strong communication skills.
