iO Associates are working with a leading Data & Analytics consultancy who specialise in partnering with the world's most innovative pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organisations. They are recognised for their ability to combine deep industry knowledge with advanced data, AI, and cloud technologies to deliver transformative impact across the full life sciences value chain.
We're supporting them in their search for Client Partners to join their growing team in three key US locations (Atlanta, GA | San Diego, CA | San Francisco, CA)
The Role
As a Client Partner, you'll take on a strategic, relationship-driven role at the intersection of business growth, client engagement, and digital transformation. You'll be working directly with senior executives (CIOs, Heads of R&D, Data & Analytics leaders) to understand their most pressing challenges and shape solutions that leverage data, AI/ML, and cloud to accelerate innovation in R&D, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Commercial functions.
This role blends account leadership, consultative solutioning, and business development - ideal for someone who thrives on building trusted relationships and driving large-scale transformation in the life sciences sector.
What You'll Be Doing
Acting as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across major life sciences accounts.
Building long-term strategic partnerships, ensuring client objectives and challenges are fully understood.
Driving revenue growth through new opportunities, account expansion, and transformation deals.
Leading account planning, pipeline development, and forecasting.
Partnering with solution architects and practice leaders to design data-driven solutions (Data Modernisation, AI/ML, GenAI, Data Platforms, Commercial Insights, Regulatory Analytics).
Shaping value propositions around areas such as patient journey analytics, clinical trial optimisation, pharmacovigilance, and manufacturing analytics.
Overseeing delivery outcomes, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction.
About You
12+ years in IT services or consulting, with at least 5 in a client-facing account leadership role.
Proven track record of growing strategic accounts ($5M+ annually) within life sciences.
Deep understanding of the life sciences value chain - spanning R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial.
Strong experience with advanced analytics, AI/ML, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exceptional communication and executive-level influencing skills.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and financial management skills.
Passion for innovation and leveraging data to drive business value.
