Role Summary

Our Client is seeking a VP of IT Infrastructure to lead the planning, development, and maintenance of reliable infrastructure and applications to support current operations and future growth. Operating at a strategic level, this role is crucial for driving technological advancements within the organisation.

Responsibilities

Oversee the operation and maintenance of computer networks, workstations, servers, and storage systems.
Lead the planning and management of data centers, including disaster recovery environments.
Prioritize and delegate tasks to IT infrastructure personnel.
Ensure compliance with security policies and conduct regular system backups.
Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and proactive maintenance.
Collaborate with Information Security to ensure infrastructure security and regulatory compliance.
Manage technology vendor contracts and vendor relationships.
Develop and implement technical standards and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or computer information systems; Master's Degree preferred.
10+ years of technology experience with 5+ years in IT management.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and M365.
Strong knowledge of database administration, Windows/Linux Servers, and Cisco routers.
Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with other departments.
Strong commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Additional technical certifications are preferred.
Familiarity with hybrid and cloud systems architecture.
Experience with implementing emerging technologies for scalability and cost efficiency.
