Senior Data Engineer with TS/SCI Clearance

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions to support our clients' critical missions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data engineering solutions.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL or R
  • Strong experience with data technologies such as Pytorch, TensorFlow or Jupyter
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in government or defense-related projects.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data Specialty, Cloudera Certified Developer).
