About the Role
Our client, a leading Identity and Access Management (IAM) consulting firm, is seeking a seasoned SailPoint IdentityNow Architect/Lead for a 6-12 month contract. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the design, configuration, and deployment of SailPoint IdentityNow solutions across enterprise environments.
You will work closely with client stakeholders, solution architects, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of IdentityNow capabilities including lifecycle management, access certifications, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead and architect for SailPoint IdentityNow implementations.
Design end-to-end identity lifecycle processes including joiner/mover/leaver events.
Lead solution architecture, design sessions, and requirements gathering workshops.
Configure IdentityNow components: connectors, roles, policies, certifications, workflows, and rules.
Provide guidance on best practices and SailPoint governance processes.
Troubleshoot complex issues and lead resolution efforts across client environments.
Collaborate with project managers to track deliverables, timelines, and risks.
Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on IAM experience with at least 3+ years focused on SailPoint IdentityNow.
Proven experience architecting and leading IdentityNow implementations in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle events, role-based access control, certifications, and policy enforcement.
Experience integrating with target systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.).
Proficiency in Java, BeanShell, and REST APIs is a plus.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote consulting environment.
Contract Details
Type: 1099 or Corp-to-Corp
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: 6-12 months with potential for extension
Rate: Commensurate with experience
Location: 100% Remote (U.S. work authorization required)
