Job Title: QA Tester (Selenium)

Position Overview:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital platforms and products. You will collaborate closely with their development and product teams to identify, prioritize, and execute test cases, focusing primarily on automated testing using Selenium. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a fast-paced media organization dedicated to delivering timely and accurate news content.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of web-based applications and digital products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues and ensure backward compatibility.
Document and track defects, and work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
