Our client provides full life-cycle software engineering services to DoD, federal, and commercial clients using mature agile, scrum, and SAFe practices. Responsibilities:


Integration of Computer Vision services into Edge Computing Environments

  • Develop the technical direction and roadmap for our suite of products
  • Maintain a broad understanding of how our software solutions fit into the overall systems they support
  • Facilitate interactions between our clients, stakeholders, and development partners
  • Focus on the technical development of your team
  • Conduct research for, report on, and create proof-of-concepts and prototypes for R&D projects
  • Learn emerging technologies and programming tools to keep you and your team as well equipped as possible
  • Work with your team to test, develop, peer review, and continuously integrate changes into the code bases
  • Build and maintain applications using .Net
  • Develop and deploy a variety of Android applications using Kotlin or Java
  • Build distributed mission-critical applications using microservices deployed via containers
  • Play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and demonstrating applications

Qualifications:

  • Has experience leading a software team with 3 or more developers
  • Actively programs with one or more of the following languages: C#, Java, Kotlin
  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field and has 8+ years of professional work experience in Software Engineering
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
  • Is able to engage with teammates, both virtually and face-to-face, to plan projects, seek out or provide help on issues, as well as present solutions to clients
  • Manages time well and can prioritize tasks to ensure projects are completed on time
