Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee and uphold the performance, availability, and security of SQL Server and MongoDB databases within a clustered database environment.
- Deploy, configure, and manage SQL Server and MongoDB databases on various cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Monitor database performance and proactively optimize SQL queries, MongoDB operations, and cloud database instances.
- Establish and manage database backup and disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments.
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop functional specifications.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices and standards.
- Address and resolve database-related issues in both cloud and on-premises settings.
- Maintain comprehensive database documentation, including data models, schema designs, and system configurations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in database administration, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Perform on-call duties and handle system implementations and upgrades outside regular business hours as needed to minimize business disruption.
- Undertake a variety of tasks with a degree of creativity and autonomy.

Requirements:

- Preferably hold a Master's degree in computer science.
- Possess a grasp of Marketing Company & Data concepts.
- Hold relevant certifications and/or demonstrate significant experience as a Database Administrator.
- Accumulate 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator, ideally in a high-traffic web environment.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in SQL Server database administration, covering installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Have experience operating in 24x7 environments with a zero-downtime objective.
- Familiarity with MongoDB administration, encompassing installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficient in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledgeable about cloud database services like Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS for SQL Server, and MongoDB Atlas.
- Skilled in SQL Server SSRS reporting.
- Expertise in ETL processes using SSIS and similar toolsets.
- Mastery of TSQL, Star Schema, and Data Modeling.
- Proficiency in storage and capacity planning.
- Solid understanding of database backup and recovery strategies in cloud environments.
- Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
