Role Summary: Our Client is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join their team. This role plays a pivotal part in designing, developing, and implementing efficient data pipelines to provide analytics from large datasets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product team to create and deploy quantitative models, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:

Identify relevant datasets for solution development
Curate, evaluate, and analyze data
Develop and implement quantitative models
Ensure validation and quality assurance of data and results
Collaborate with the product team to deploy solutions
Address user requirements and customer feedback
Implement solutions as part of larger projects

Essential Skills & Experience:

Active Secret clearance
Strong academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Python and data handling libraries like Pandas and PyArrow
Experience in database management (e.g., MySQL, Oracle)
Knowledge of large-scale data processing and batch processing pipelines
Familiarity with Cloud Computing environments (AWS, GCloud, Azure)

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Master's degree or higher
Experience in Cloud Computing environments
Familiarity with HPC or cloud architecture
Prior work in a similar industry
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
