An exciting Cloud Cybersecruity start up is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join their team based in New York City. The firm has recently secured new seed funding and are working on not just detecting cloud cybersecurity problems but solving them as well.
The ideal candidate will have existing start up experience. They will also be an expert in Data Engineering with 5+ years experience, and exposure to the Databricks architecture. The main responsibilities of the role is to build ETL pipelines to extend their core datasets and expand upon their existing data architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to be exposed to many aspects of a technology start up as they are entering a strong growth phase! This is a hybrid opportunity with around 2 days in their Manhattan office. This role is paying up to $180k base.
Tech skills

Knowledge of Databricks essentials
Ability to code and manipulate data in Python
Experience with BI and other data visualization and reporting tools
Proficiency in SQL
Domain expertise in cybersecurity or infrastructure-as-code.
