BI Developer

Are you passionate about data, business intelligence, and building visually appealing reports? I am seeking a talented BI Developer to help support my partners growing team.

What You'll Do:

• Data Platform: Work with our architected data platform built in Databricks and Superset.
• Business Insights: Design and build insightful reports and alerts, supporting all business units with critical data visualizations.
• Tech Stack: You'll be working in an Azure environment with a focus on Databricks. You'll consume data and generate visual reports primarily using SQL (Superset is SQL-based) and tools like PowerBI.
• Collaboration: Partner with our support team, understand the needs of various departments, and build metrics-based reports and SQL queries to monitor and drive performance.
• Hands-On Role: Keep the reporting platform up and running during busy audit seasons, troubleshoot issues, and ensure everything flows smoothly-even if you don't need to directly fix the issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in SQL, with experience building Superset or PowerBI reports.
• Python experience.
• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure.
• Able to collaborate effectively with multiple business units, understand their data needs, and design visually compelling, insightful reports.
• Quick learner, capable of monitoring and troubleshooting to keep things running during critical reporting periods.
