Overview: Join our team as an Azure AD and Cloud Security Specialist on a 12-month contract basis, where you'll spearhead the continual improvement of our Azure Active Directory (AD), focusing on user identity and bolstering Azure cloud security measures. This role involves a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office responsibilities.

Location: Philadelphia, Pa (2-3 days per week onsite)


Responsibilities:

  1. Azure AD Enhancement: Lead ongoing enhancements and optimization of Azure AD, ensuring seamless user management, authentication, and access controls tailored to healthcare industry needs.
  2. User Identity Focus: Implement strategies to strengthen user identity management within a healthcare context, including identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance adherence.
  3. Azure Cloud Security: Develop, implement, and oversee robust security measures within the Azure cloud environment, aligning with healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR) and industry best practices.
  4. Healthcare Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare data security regulations and ensure Azure AD and cloud security measures comply with healthcare data protection laws.
  5. Collaborative Initiatives: Collaborate with healthcare professionals and IT teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly while ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards.
  6. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments specific to healthcare data, identify vulnerabilities, and proactively mitigate security risks within the Azure environment.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and generating reports aligned with healthcare security standards.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure AD administration, identity management, and cloud security within healthcare or related industries.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and experience implementing security measures aligned with healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Azure Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Azure services and tools related to identity and access management (IAM), Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, etc.
  • Security Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing security controls for sensitive healthcare data.
  • Certifications: Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, Azure Administrator) and security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable, particularly within a healthcare context.
