Job Title: Native Android Developer

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into user-friendly features and interfaces.
  3. Implement new features and enhancements, ensuring they meet our standards for performance, usability, and accessibility.
  4. Optimize application performance and memory usage to deliver a smooth user experience across various Android devices.
  5. Integrate with backend services and APIs to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  6. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends, incorporating them into our development process when appropriate.
  8. Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and resolve technical challenges to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience developing native Android applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  3. Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, with a deep understanding of Android SDK, frameworks, and design patterns.
  4. Experience with Android Jetpack components, including LiveData, ViewModel, and Room.
  5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming techniques.
  6. Solid understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
