We are currently seeking an experienced Android Developer for a contract position with a prominent local software development consultancy based in Philadelphia.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with a minimum of 3 years of mobile development experience to join our client's dynamic consulting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications for one of the firm's established end clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for Android applications.
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design and implement innovative mobile applications for the Android platform.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in mobile development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Proficient in Android Studio and Kotlin programming language.
  • Experience with Firebase for real-time databases, authentication, and cloud messaging.
  • Familiarity with AWS services for cloud computing.
