iO Associates are delighted to announce our next AWS Virtual Meetup will be on Thursday 25th February at 6pm! The topic of this session will be ‘Proactive Programming Using AWS Services’, which will be ran by PJ Hagerty, Senior Developer Advocate.

Proactive Programming the feedback loop is one of the most important parts of programming. We write tests and try to mitigate all possible problems, but until we deploy our code, it's hard to tell what "works" and what doesn't. In this talk, we'll discuss methods used to ensure everything works the way it should before deploying to production.

About the Speaker:

PJ is the Senior Developer Advocate at Mattermost and a board member of Open Sourcing Mental Illness (OSMIhelp.org). He is an organizer of DevOps Days Buffalo, CodeDaze, and ElixirDaze. Additionally, PJ is a developer, writer, speaker, and musician. He is known to travel the world speaking about programming and the way people think and interact. He is also known for wearing hats. You can find PJ on his LinkedIn.

We are really keen to help keep our community positive and engaged, and this virtual platform ensures that we can reach more of the tech community. iO Associates get the most in-demand speakers on the topics of your choice so please get in touch if you have any suggestions. We have some exciting meetups planned for the next couple of months so keep a look out on our Tampa Bay Azure User Group and Tampa Bay AWS User Group pages, or alternatively follow our LinkedIn.

We hope you can join us and please get in touch with any questions or suggestions on future virtual meetups!
