Role Overview

In response to ongoing strategic initiatives, Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Manager to lead their enterprise systems and integration efforts. This is a critical role that offers the chance to influence key operational platforms that support the organisation’s success. The position is based onsite, requiring presence five days a week, and provides a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise application management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and ongoing operations of core SaaS applications, ensuring system stability and security.
  • Design and maintain secure integrations and workflows connecting third-party platforms with internal databases and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and conduct capability assessments to support continuous system improvements.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex platform issues, working directly with support teams and onsite stakeholders.
  • Develop system documentation, procedures, and train end-users to maximise platform adoption.
  • Support process automation initiatives to streamline business operations and reduce manual effort.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Over 10 years’ progressive experience in enterprise applications, system administration, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on expertise managing and integrating SaaS platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or SAP Fieldglass.
  • Proven experience with API design, data mapping, and automation frameworks.
  • Strong vendor management skills, including SLA tracking and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with business and technical teams, translating requirements into practical solutions.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards within enterprise environments.

Desirable Attributes

  • Prior experience implementing automation tools and workflow enhancements.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and regulatory standards.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence without direct authority.
