Role Summary
The organisation is expanding its strategic IT capabilities to support ongoing growth and digital transformation efforts. The appointed SyteLine Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing ERP architecture strategies that align with business objectives. This role presents a unique chance to lead transformative initiatives, ensuring robust, scalable systems that drive operational efficiencies and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) solutions across multiple business units.
  • Translate complex business needs into efficient, scalable ERP configurations and customisations.
  • Act as the internal expert on SyteLine capabilities, offering guidance and strategic insights to leadership and project teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams-including manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and IT-to optimise workflows and system integrations.
  • Develop and oversee system customisations, extensions (using the Mongoose framework), and reporting tools to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure high standards of data integrity, system security, and compliance with governance policies.
  • Lead system upgrade projects, migrations (including cloud transitions), and new module integrations.
  • Provide mentorship to developers, analysts, and functional consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, designing sustainable, long-term architectural solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of extensive experience working with Infor SyteLine or CloudSuite Industrial.
  • Proven track record as a Solutions Architect or senior ERP Consultant, with hands-on involvement in ERP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes-particularly discrete, make-to-order, and make-to-stock environments.
  • Practical experience with Mongoose development, SQL Server, and ERP system integrations.
  • Demonstrable ability to design and lead scalable ERP system architectures from conception to deployment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strategic mindset.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Infor OS, Infor ION middleware, and related integration tools.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects, especially within AWS or Infor CloudSuite environments.
  • Proficiency with BI and reporting platforms such as Power BI and SSRS.
  • Relevant certifications in Infor SyteLine or similar ERP platforms.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, providing domain-specific insights.
