Senior EMI / EMC Engineer - 12 Month Contract

Sr EMI /EMC Engineer | Contract to Hire Option | Mid Texas | $100/hr

An iO partner operating in one of the most advanced autonomous aircraft programmes in the US are growing the team to reach an ambitious milestone. Their aircraft are deployed across three continents and they are now scaling to full rate production. This hire is critical to that milestone.

You will own EMI/EMC, RF and communications across their autonomous aircraft platforms. That means hands-on troubleshooting and testing, not board-level design. This is the chance to be a key part of  a lean team achieving industry firsts.

You Must Have

• 5+ years of hands-on RF and EMI/EMC experience on integrated hardware
• First-principles RF depth: spectrum analysis, EMI sweeps, interference identification
• Fluency with spectrum analysers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, SDR platforms
• MIL-STD-461 or DO-160 experience
• Aerospace, UAV, robotics background preferred

The Culture

Start-up pace, on-site, high ownership. Culture is weighted as heavily as the technical brief here. If you need to be managed to the finish line, this is not the role.

The Details

• $100 /hr, 12-month term, with a path to FTE (options to start FTE)
• On site 4 days, mid Texas
• Full relocation costs covered
• Full right to work in the US required (no sponsorship)
