Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Our Client’s Product Department during a period of strategic expansion and transformation. The newly created Product Lifecycle Manager role plays a pivotal part in streamlining product processes and ensuring teams are aligned at every stage of the product journey. Reporting directly to the Director of Product, this position offers the chance to influence product success from initial concept through to post-launch analysis, supporting the company’s growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the evaluation, validation, and definition of new product ideas, ensuring clarity and feasibility before progressing.
• Track and maintain visibility of initiative statuses, decision points, dependencies, risks, and open questions.
• Review and ensure consistency and quality in product documentation, release notes, and stakeholder communications.
• Support cross-functional teams-including Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Marketing, and Operations-in understanding project objectives, technical trade-offs, and customer impacts.
• Identify scope ambiguities, missing information, operational risks, and downstream effects early to prevent delays or rework.
• Serve as a communication bridge among diverse teams, translating technical details and business priorities into accessible language.
• Contribute to improving lifecycle processes, documentation standards, and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Assist in aligning product releases with operational readiness and strategic goals, reinforcing scope boundaries where necessary.
• Use lifecycle tools and processes flexibly to foster clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum of three years’ experience in software product lifecycle management, technical product management, or related roles involving SaaS products or digital platforms.
• Strong technical fluency in modern B2C SaaS environments, with understanding of full-stack technologies, system dependencies, and operational risks.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering teams, evaluating technical feasibility and surfacing risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of tailoring messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Skilled in working with incomplete or evolving information, exercising sound judgment, and guiding teams towards clear, actionable decisions.
• Experience in using lifecycle management tools, templates, and documentation standards to maintain clarity and consistency.
• Organisational prowess in tracking multiple initiatives and follow-up actions, ensuring timely progress.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a software engineer, product operations manager, or technical program manager, especially within B2C SaaS.
• Hands-on knowledge of frontend/backend development, cloud infrastructure, APIs, or operational workflows.
• Experience working within organisations with complex customer needs, compliance considerations, or operational dependencies.
• Demonstrated success in engaging with senior leadership, including department heads and executives, to communicate risks and align priorities.
• Familiarity with process enhancement, documentation standards, and stakeholder engagement in fast-paced environments.
