Role Summary
In response to strategic growth and upcoming team transitions, our Client is seeking a talented PowerBI Specialist to step into a pivotal role within their data and analytics team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive PowerBI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into accessible insights for various business stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-departmental teams to gather and refine reporting requirements, ensuring analytical outputs meet strategic needs.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures to uphold data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.
• Provide training sessions and ongoing support to enhance the organisation’s utilisation of PowerBI and boost user engagement.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in PowerBI and business intelligence tools to continuously optimise reporting strategies and techniques.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience as a PowerBI Specialist or in a comparable role, with proven expertise in data analysis, visualisation techniques, and solution implementation.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and related data modelling techniques.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases, data warehouses, and SQL-based data querying.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify and communicate intricate data insights effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of data management frameworks and ETL processes to enhance data flow and integration.
• Experience working with other Business Intelligence tools or visualisation platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Azure or AWS, to support scalable data solutions.
