We are supporting a leading aerospace engineering organization in Vermont that is expanding its design capability and looking to hire multiple Mechanical Design Engineers with strong experience in CATIA and Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) environments.
These roles will support the design, development, and modification of aircraft mechanical and structural components, working closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with aviation or aerospace backgrounds who are experienced working in complex product development environments.
Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)
Design and modify mechanical and structural components for aircraft systems
Create engineering documentation and drawing packages in accordance with aerospace standards
Support tolerance stack-ups, interface design, and material selection
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and program teams to ensure designs are producible and meet specifications
Participate in design reviews, change management, and engineering change processes
Ensure designs meet aerospace regulatory and quality standards
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in aerospace or aviation engineering environments
Strong proficiency with:
CATIA V5 and/or CATIA V6
3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)
Experience producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings
Familiarity with GD&T and ASME drawing standards
Ability to work closely with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams
Experience working on aircraft structures, propulsion systems, or mechanical subsystems
Experience with PLM environments such as ENOVIA or Windchill
Background supporting design changes, production support, or manufacturing engineering
Experience in defense or commercial aerospace programs
On-site in Vermont
Must be able to work on-site with engineering teams and program stakeholders.
