Part 23 Landing Gear DER – Contract Engagement
iO Associates is working with a leading US aerospace engineering firm to identify an active FAA-appointed Designated Engineering Representative (DER) with a landing gear authorisation under Part 23 for a defined, near-term contract engagement.
The Role
The firm is progressing a FAA certification programme and requires a DER to be named in the Project Certification Plan as the designee for landing gear compliance. This is a compliance-showing exercise – there are no design changes to the landing gear. The scope is well-defined and the deliverable is clear.
The engagement is estimated at approximately 200 hours of work, with an immediate start.
