Role Summary
Due to ongoing growth and the strategic importance of executive compensation initiatives, Our Client is seeking a highly experienced Executive Compensation and Benefits Specialist. This pivotal role is designed to ensure the delivery of precise compensation administration, support executive benefit programmes, and optimise assessment processes at senior levels. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Senior Officer Performance appraisal processes, ensuring alignment with compensation and HR strategies.
- Coordinate and process compensation reviews, including salary adjustments, annual and long-term incentives in line with corporate policies.
- Administer executive benefit programmes, including deferred compensation, SERPs, and executive life insurance policies.
- Prepare and evaluate confidential correspondence and sensitive documentation, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Collaborate with payroll, finance, and third-party administrators to ensure timely and accurate execution of incentive awards and benefit distributions.
- Handle and monitor complex benefit plan enrolments, deferrals, and payouts, liaising with external consultants and administrators.
- Maintain detailed records of executive compensation data, including plan participation, balances, and transaction history.
- Support annual audits and regulatory reporting related to executive benefits.
- Handle employee and retiree communications regarding benefit options and plan updates.
- Assist with international compensation and benefit activities, including cross-border payments and compliance.
- Manage expense reports, vendor invoices, and budget-related activities with accuracy and timeliness.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and system enhancements to optimise operational efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience
- A college degree or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 10 years’ exposure to executive compensation and benefit administration.
- Demonstrable expertise managing senior-level performance assessments and incentive programmes.
- Practical knowledge of Workday HCM and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a meticulous eye for data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written communication, including the preparation of reports and correspondence.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working with international payroll and benefits systems.
- Knowledge of non-qualified deferred compensation plans, SERPs, and related regulations.
- Familiarity with payroll, tax compliance, and cross-border compensation processes.
- Previous exposure to vendor management and audit support activities.
