Role Overview
In response to ongoing growth and strategic evolution, Our Client seeks a talented Data Products Manager focused on Government Systems. This key position is vital for integrating critical government data sources into their advanced platform, supporting smarter, faster acquisition processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and upkeep of a comprehensive government systems data road map, outlining priorities in line with current and planned data strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Implementation Teams, and Customer Engagement Managers to understand the capabilities and uses of critical government data systems.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify overlaps, gaps, and opportunities within existing data coverage and align these findings with future data expansion plans.
  • Engage directly with customers during technical meetings and interviews to deepen understanding of their data workflows and system applications.
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to establish and maintain procedures for secure data access, sharing, and governance for each system.
  • Document technical and operational requirements, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Product Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • A minimum of four year’s experience working with government data systems.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages used for data handling.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proven analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience or familiarity with Generative AI technologies is highly desirable.

Additional Skills

  • Holding or the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Advanced qualifications such as a Master’s degree relevant to data or product management.
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as JUPITER, ADVANA, or BLADE.
  • Knowledge of defence acquisition processes and related data sources.
  • Proven track record managing data-driven projects or initiatives.
