Hi,

My client is a leading provider of mission-critical software and services, supporting organisations across sectors such as finance, HR, payroll, education, and accountancy. They help businesses streamline operations, ensure compliance, and improve productivity through innovative technology solutions.

They are currently looking for a Salesforce Team Lead (or an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator ready to step up) on a permanent basis to lead the support, governance, and ongoing development of their Salesforce platform.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the Salesforce ecosystem effectively supports revenue growth, customer lifecycle management, and operational scalability, while leading a high-performing team and driving platform excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the Salesforce administration team, setting clear goals, standards, and best practices
  • Support and shape the Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex Salesforce issues and major incidents
  • Drive platform governance, balancing stability, technical debt, and innovation
  • Oversee delivery of projects and enhancements across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ
  • Establish and support a global “follow-the-sun” support model
  • Maintain system performance, usability, and data integrity across the platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
  • Ensure adherence to change management and development lifecycle processes
  • Manage reporting, dashboards, and documentation for business users

What you’ll need:

  • Strong experience in Salesforce Administration within a multi-cloud environment
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform App Builder certifications
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring teams (or readiness to step into leadership)
  • Experience with incident management, support desk operations, and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of integrations and wider application ecosystems
  • Knowledge of data management (Excel, SQL) and governance practices
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex requirements
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and change management processes

Why this role:

  • Opportunity to step into or grow within a leadership role in a well-established software organisation
  • Work on a large-scale, enterprise Salesforce environment with multiple clouds
  • Be part of a business delivering impactful solutions across multiple industries
  • Strong focus on innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement
  • Play a key role in shaping platform strategy and operational excellence
