Join an Innovative Blockchain Startup as our Head of Infrastructure
A fast growing blockchain infrastructure company is hiring a Head of Infrastructure to lead the design, reliability and continuous operation of a large scale distributed ecosystem. The team builds foundational systems that support high throughput networks, cryptographic compute, and mission critical services used by developers and institutions. This role sits at the center of engineering and plays a key part in shaping the platform’s scalability, reliability and security posture.
Role Overview
You will lead all infrastructure strategy and operations across production, staging and development environments. This includes internally hosted nodes, compute intensive proving systems, network services and backend components that must remain reliable under routine and peak demand. You will partner closely with security engineering to ensure observability, monitoring and incident response meet the standards of a high integrity blockchain platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Own infrastructure architecture, reliability and uptime across a distributed blockchain environment
* Maintain always live node infrastructure and the systems that support network participation
* Design scalable proving and compute infrastructure for high demand workloads
* Implement load balancing and traffic distribution across network and service layers
* Build monitoring, metrics, alerting and dashboards for full operational visibility
* Oversee upgrade processes ensuring correctness, predictability and system safety
* Partner with security teams on monitoring protocols, alert routing and incident response workflows
What You Bring
* Senior experience leading infrastructure or DevOps teams within blockchain or large scale distributed systems
* Strong background operating node based infrastructure, network services and high availability systems
* Expertise in observability frameworks, performance monitoring and reliability engineering
* Experience collaborating with security teams on monitoring and response processes
* Ability to combine hands on technical depth with leadership of a growing infrastructure team
