The Opportunity
A new opportunity has been created for a Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to join their core engineering group. This role is central to the evolution of their low-cost, high-throughput payment network and will shape the reliability, performance, and developer velocity of a major blockchain ecosystem. You will work on infrastructure that underpins real-world financial applications and directly influence how digital value moves across the internet.
What You Will Do
* Build and maintain the infrastructure supporting the organisation’s blockchain network, ensuring resilience, scalability, and strong security practices.
* Identify bottlenecks in tooling, deployment, and CI/CD workflows to maximise engineering productivity.
* Operate and scale validator infrastructure, block explorers, and related network components.
* Improve internal developer experience through optimised pipelines, automation, and tooling.
* Collaborate with enterprise partners onboarding to the network, supporting validator setup and operational readiness.
* Contribute to performance optimisation and innovation across the blockchain stack.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience managing bare-metal and cloud production environments.
* Strong proficiency in Rust, Go, or Python for tooling, automation, and systems work.
* Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production, with hands-on experience using Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, or similar IaC tools.
* Advanced understanding of observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana, including securing and troubleshooting them.
* Strong Linux fundamentals, networking knowledge, and comfort debugging complex systems.
* Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure or validator operations, ideally within modern proof-of-stake ecosystems.
