About the Role
The Associate Director of Digital Assets will lead the development, launch, and ongoing management of a mobile first cryptocurrency trading and investment platform. * Develop and enhance crypto trading features and platform capabilities.
* Integrate market data, liquidity providers, and essential trading infrastructure.
* Establish and oversee risk management frameworks for digital asset operations.
* Manage the regulatory process, including licensing, registration, and interactions with authorities.
* Ensure crypto services meet high standards for security, compliance, and customer experience.
* Partner with legal, compliance, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver a cohesive product.
* Guide the evolution of the platform as the business scales.
Required Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Five or more years of experience within FinTech, financial services, or a retail broker dealer environment.
* Completion of relevant Canadian investment industry courses such as CSC, CPH, and IDSC.
* Three or more years of direct experience in digital assets or crypto markets.
* Strong background in operations or financial technology with the ability to lead complex initiatives.
* Proven project management capability with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Ability to develop trading features, manage third party integrations, and build risk controls.
* Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with evolving requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
* Additional Canadian securities courses such as PDO or DFOL.
* Prior experience in crypto trading or digital asset platforms.
* A foundational understanding of AI technology trends.
* Strong organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
